Collections
- Stay in the comfort of your home or business. One of our certified phlebotomists will draw your blood and/or urine sample and deliver it to the hospital for testing. Once your tests have been completed, your doctor will receive the report. Our in-home blood collection and specimen pick-up service must be arranged by appointment.
- Please check your requisitions for written tests. They will be in the top left or bottom right corner. Some tests require to be taken to the hospital immediately. Including but not limited to cryoglobulin, ammonia, blood gases, homocysteine, ACTH, vitamin C, thiamine (vitamin B1), niacin (vitamin B3), Copper, and Zinc. This will require an extra charge.
Requirements
- You must have a requisition from your doctor to book an appointment.
- We charge $55* per appointment. A $30 cancellation fee may be applied for missed appointments, late cancellations, or missing requisitions.

Blood collection
During your appointment
Please inform your phlebotomist if you think you may faint. Although blood collection is routine, these are some potential risks:
- Bruising or bleeding after the puncture site
- Minor discomfort
- Tingling
- Painful swelling
Steps to take to ensure the risks are limited:
- Apply immediate pressure on the puncture set for 5 minutes
- Leave the bandage on for 15 minutes
- Carry items with the opposite arm
- Inform staff before collection if you have had a mastectomy or fistula
